Hi, Welcome all.
1- I am going to quote Scott Kelly, American engineer, retired astronaut, and U.S. Navy captain. A veteran of four space flights. His Letter to the Editor at the NY Times is insightful. (partial quote)
“Here are a few tips on living in isolation, from someone who has been there. Follow a schedule: On the space station, my time was scheduled tightly, from the moment I woke up to when I went to sleep. Sometimes this involved a spacewalk that could last up to eight hours; other times, it involved a five-minute task, like checking on the experimental flowers I was growing in space. You will find maintaining a plan will help you and your family adjust to a different work and home life environment.”
A- What did the Mr. Hamburger name his daughter?
B- Patty
2- If you watch TV – watch a comedy. Laugh, Have fun. Stay away from toooooo much seriousness. A laugh will lighten your mood and probably the entire family’s mood. Don’t forget the popcorn.
C- Why do birds fly south for the winter?
D- It is faster than walking.
3- Try a board game with the entire family. Learn Chess or Bridge if you are interested in going that deep.
4- Radio Frequency, RF, is also called electromagnetic waves. Just in case you saw that term in a science book. Back to that equation: Remember that C= 300 M Hz. C= Frequency * Wavelength If C is constant (like in this equation) then if frequency goes up — then wavelength goes down. ( like a see-saw on the playground )
Lets take a frequency of 100 HZ. The equation goes 300,000,000 = 100 * wave length. Then the wave length is 3,000,000 meters long. or 3 Mega Meters.
92.3 M Hz FM Radio Station: 300 M meters/ sec = 92.3 M Hz * wave length Wavelength = 3.2432 meters
5- Lets change it around. (Fq. = Frequency) Wave length is 2 meters then .
300,000,000 = Frequency * 2 meters. Fq. = 150 M Hz.
6- Curve ball coming:
What happens when the Fq. is above 300 M Hz? ….. The wave length is shorter than a meter. Fq = 440 M Hz (440 Mega Hertz). 300 M Hz = 440 M Hz * Wave length. Wave length is 0.6818 Meters….. Hams call that 70 CM or 70 centimeters.

PS: The youngest person to get a HAM License in North Carolina was…. She was 6 years old.
E- What do Alexander the Great & Winnie the Pooh have in common?
F- Same middle name.
G- What do you call a pile of kittens?
H- A meowtain.
